Faith Sterling

For over 40 years, I worked as a risk manager, assisting large asset owners in New York City assess their exposure to loss and design reliable insurance programs to protect their assets. I was there to support them when unexpected catastrophes occurred, helping them get back on their feet and move forward.

Transitions inherently involve risks, and I'm here to support and nurture your biggest asset—YOU! As we explore all possibilities and desired outcomes of this phase of your life, think of me your dedicated risk manager.

Notwithstanding my success as an insurance professional, business owner, wife, mother, and daughter of a parent in his 90s, I've experienced years of overwhelming stress. When life didn't go as planned, I would wonder, "What's wrong with me?" Despite knowing I was resourceful, smart, and capable, I would often jump into 'fix it' mode, relying on limited, ineffective tools like judgment, the need for perfection, anger, and resentment. These loud voices in my head drowned out any whisper of wisdom, leading to behavior that didn't reflect my best self and left me feeling ashamed and disappointed.

Though there were moments of achievement and growth, I often felt stuck and unable to get out of my own way. Working with a talented, trained professional coach was a turning point for me.

Coaching is not advice, therapy, or a casual chat with a friend. It's a co-created partnership in a confidential, supportive, and non-judgmental space. Coaching is client-centered, focusing on your goals and desired outcomes, and the sustainable tools and strategies developed become your success formula.
